“Success is a journey not a destination”
People want to tread the path of success. They want to win. A winner is someone who sets his goals, commits himself to these goals and then pursues them with all the ability he has. The message conveyed is ‘setting goals’.
People ask: “Where do you see yourself 5 years down the line?” An indirect way to get an insight into your career goals. I personally do not believe and have any concrete answer to this question. Can career goals be measured and quantified and related to any position or designation when we are unaware of the responsibilities of that position?
Accordingly, I have set abstract career goals for myself. To grow academically, professionally and socially is what I aim for. I want myself to be referred as a very valuable resource for the organization at any point of time. I want to be remembered by the associates as a person with integrity. A person who strived to achieve success without compromising principals, honesty. As they say “Prefer loss to a dishonest gain; the one brings pain at the moment; the other for all the time”.
I want to associate myself with set of leaders who fought to achieve success when it mattered the most and did not quit during the difficult times. The abstract goals that I have set, I want to pursue holistically and not in a fragmented way.
Centricity, Meritocracy and Ethics are three principles that guide a Student to Zenith. I would like to add and develop mentioned feathers to my cap. I would like to develop myself academically in an environment where there is integration of academics and industry .
I am sure this will help me develop the required holistic attitude to pursue problems and develop social outlook to bear in mind the efforts put in by the concerned people to help me reach at this level and the thought that I owe a lot to all of them and the Nation.

Awesome Anup, well said! The goal we set is like crossing a bridge in fog. We know the aim but we cant see the obstacles in the way.Certainly diligence what you mentioned will take us to that point.
